Power Lock
Once your garage door goes down, it's securely locked with the power lock. Similar to a deadbolt, it ensures the door cannot be forced open. |

The Protector System*
Projects an invisible light beam across garage door opening. If interrupted while the door is closing, the opener reverses before making contact. If beam is obstructed, door will not close.
For additional safety, the light automatically goes on whenever the beam is broken.

Manual Release Handle
In case of power failure, this feature releases the garage door for manual operation. One pull disengages the opener from the door and another pull re-engages the opener. |

Installation requirements include:
- Power within 6' of the opener
- 3" of headroom
- 8" of side room beyond the end of the torsion bar
- 1" torsion bar
Key installation points:
- Residential Jackshaft Opener collar must be firmly secured to the door's torsion bar
- Installation of the cable tension monitor is required to ensure monitoring of the door's cable
- Installation of the opener to a "true" torsion bar; a torsion bar that is not true must be adjusted to allow the opener to operate correctly
**Not
recommended for use in 0 radius dual track (two tracks on each side of the
door) or full track systems (track is
straight from floor to ceiling, no horizontal track). |
